When am I most fertile?
So you and your partner have decided you want to start a family. Once the decision is made and the excitement outweighs the insecurity of this life change, it’s time to talk about fertility.
You probably know that in each cycle, a healthy, normally fertile couple has a 15-25% chance of conceiving a baby (provided you have sex during the fertile days of course). If you don't want to leave it down to luck and statistics, you can increase your chances of getting pregnant by making the most of your "fertile window". Measuring your temperature in the current month can help you to predict the time of your ovulation in the next month, and so on.
In the time when you are not fertile, it is more sticky and dense.
In order to be more certain, you can buy ovulation tests (or even ovulation “computers”) which measure the level of luteinizing hormone in your urine.
Don't wait until the day of your ovulation! It makes sense to have sex every other day a few days before your ovulation, as the sperm cells survive a couple of days.
